2012 Le Versant IGP Syrah €13.99 from McHughs, Kilbarrack and Artane, Dublin
This is a big, powerful French wine made from fruit grown in the Pays d’Oc region.
Made from the syrah grape, the mocha and spice flavours make this a great food wine.
Serve with a slow-cooked winter stew, preferably made with beef or lamb.
