La Rosca cava
The Spanish sparkling wine industry came into its own in 1970 when they created a regional DO called Cava (meaning ‘cellar’ in Spanish).
Most Cava is produced in Catalonia and the grapes used are macabeo, xarel-lo and parrellada.
La Rosca is a fine example, with lovely yeasty flavours with ripe fruit. Great for celebrations.
